These terms govern your use of Roadmantica (the "service"), operated by LESPIRANT GmbH, Karlstrasse 72, 40210 Düsseldorf, Germany ("we", "us"). Our legal notice (Impressum) has our full company details.
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. It is information for you, not part of this agreement.
Roadmantica lets two people run an alignment on their relationship. Each rates a set of relationship questions and ranks their personal priorities; both then see a fit score, a gap chart and a comparison of their priorities.
These results are meant to start a conversation. They are calculated automatically from the answers given, can be incomplete, and are not a psychological diagnosis, counselling, or relationship, medical or legal advice.
You may use the service in three ways: without an account, where your alignment answers stay only in your local browser until you save them; as a guest, which begins the first time you start a survey, rank your priorities, answer an invitation, save an alignment or choose to continue as a guest, where an identifier kept in your browser holds your priority rankings, survey answers and saved alignments on our server; or signed in with an account, where your alignments and priority profiles are associated with your credentials so both you and your partner can access your shared results across sessions.
When both people have answered an alignment, each sees the other's ratings and priority rankings and the results calculated from them. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is shown. You decide whether to send an invitation, and you give your explicit consent to storing and sharing your answers when you save an alignment or answer an invitation.
An invitation is a unique link or QR code for one alignment. It expires after 14 days and stops working as soon as the person who created it issues a new link. It is used up when the invited person submits their answers signed in with an account; answered as a guest, it stays open until it expires, and a new answer through it replaces the earlier one. Anyone who has the link can open the invitation and answer it, so share it only with the person you mean.
You can download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time in Privacy Settings, and delete an alignment from its own page or from your Partners page. If you answered someone else's invitation, deleting the alignment or your account removes your answers; the person who invited you keeps theirs and sees the alignment as waiting for a response. If you started an alignment, deleting it or your account removes the whole alignment for both of you, including your partner's answers.
After you delete an account, signing back in within 30 days with any sign-in service the account uses (Google, LinkedIn or GitHub) restores it, without the alignments, rankings, priority sets, surveys and survey answers that were already erased; after 30 days, the account is deleted for good. A deleted guest identity cannot be restored, and a guest identity is deleted 12 months after its last visit.
You must be 18 or older to use the service. We ask you to confirm this before we create a guest identity or an account.
Keep your device and your sign-in safe. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at support@lespirant.com.
Roadmantica is free. We show our own advertisements and, only if you allow marketing cookies, non-personalised Google ads on our public site pages. We never pass alignment answers, scores or partner details to advertisers.
Nothing can be bought today. If we offer paid plans, we will publish their price and terms before you can buy one, including your right as a consumer to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, and you will accept those terms when you buy.
Do not misuse the service. In particular, do not break the law or anyone's rights; do not try to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems; do not interfere with or disrupt it; do not get around its limits or access controls; do not reverse-engineer it except where the law allows; and do not use it to create or spread unlawful, harmful or infringing material.
If you break these rules, we can suspend or end your access, as described in "Ending the agreement".
What you enter into the service stays yours. You allow us to store, copy and process it only as far as needed to run the service for you.
You are responsible for what you enter. Enter only what you have the right to enter.
The service, including its software, design, texts, graphics and trademarks, belongs to LESPIRANT GmbH or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may use the service for its intended purpose; this right cannot be transferred and ends with this agreement.
Unless the law allows it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the service, or use our trademarks, without our written consent.
The service uses services of other companies, such as sign-in with Google, LinkedIn or GitHub. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
We provide the service free of charge and work to keep it available and correct, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Your statutory rights are not affected.
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, the GDPR and any other law that does not allow liability to be limited, and where we have given a guarantee.
For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an essential obligation, meaning one whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of this agreement possible at all and on which you may regularly rely; we are then liable only for the damage that was typical and foreseeable when the agreement was made. Otherwise, we are not liable for slight negligence.
These limits also apply to the personal liability of our employees, representatives and agents.
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
We can end your access with reasonable notice, or without notice for good cause, for example a serious breach of these terms or where the law requires it. Unless the law or the reason for ending prevents it, you can download a copy of your data before your account is closed.
We may change these terms when the service or the law changes. We publish each change here before it takes effect, and the date at the top shows the current version.
We never treat your silence or your continued use as agreement. If a change needs your agreement, we will ask for it. If you do not agree, you can delete your account at any time, and we can end the agreement as described in "Ending the agreement".
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you usually live.
If you are a consumer living in the EU, you can bring a claim against us in the courts of the country where you live or in Germany, and we can bring a claim against you only in the courts of the country where you live. If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts of Düsseldorf have exclusive jurisdiction.
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at support@lespirant.com. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
