Love isn't only what you feel and what you experience. Seven criteria cover what you might want to be true of a partner, beyond how you feel about them.
Seven criteria
Financial security, social standing, education, street smarts, empathy, being family-oriented and a healthy lifestyle. They describe the person on paper and the life you might build together, rather than the feeling in the room.
Why they're asked apart
You can feel a lot for someone who doesn't meet your criteria, and tick every box with someone you feel little for. Keeping what you want apart from what you feel and what you experience shows which of them is steering a choice.
Where they show up
Rank them in the built-in Checklist set or in the survey "What do we really look for in a partner?", and use them in Trade-offs, where a criterion can make up for a feeling that falls short, or the other way round. A gap on a criterion is often a conversation about whether it can realistically change.
