Roadmantica has a corner for social dancing: a page about tango, and a survey about what you look for in a dance partner. It's just for fun.
The Tango page
Open Tango in the menu. It covers who tango is for, whether you're single, with friends or a couple; what research says about dancing; how a milonga works, with its tandas, cortinas and cabeceo; where it gets tricky; and a few agreements couples make before they dance.
The dance-partner survey
"What do you look for in a dance partner?" has seven qualities in three families: dancing skills, appearance and personality. Rank them two at a time in about two minutes, then see how everyone else answered. No account needed.
A dance alignment
To compare with someone you dance with, choose "Start a dance alignment" on the Tango page. It works like any alignment, with the seven dance qualities in place of the romantic ones.
Finding tango near you
Roadmantica is a doorway into tango, not an authority on it. To find classes, practicas and milongas, the page links to Eventcoster, our sister app for discovering events.
