A priority set is a list of qualities you put in order of importance. Use one of the built-in sets, or make your own.
What a set is
A set holds 5 to 10 priorities. You rank them by choosing between two at a time, and you get your order of what matters most. Your alignments then give each quality the weight your ranking gives it.
The built-in sets
Classic has eight priorities: how you feel about someone and how they make you feel. Checklist has seven things you might want to be true of a partner, on paper. For social dancing there is one more, Tango partner: seven qualities of a dance partner. Built-in sets can't be edited.
Where to find them
Open Priorities in the menu. Each set shows when you last ranked it, and offers "Rank now", "Rank again" or "View ranking".
Making your own
Choose "New +" at the top of the list, name your set and pick 5 to 10 priorities; eight is a good balance. Then choose "Rank these". If you don't see "New +", sign in or rank a built-in set first.
When a set can't change
Once a set has been ranked, or used in an alignment or a survey, its priorities are fixed, so past results keep their meaning. You can still rename it, or choose "Save as a new set" and change the copy.
Ranking again
Choose "Rank again" when your priorities change. The new ranking counts from then on, and past results keep the ranking they were made with. "History" shows how your ranking has changed.
Sets and alignments
When you start an alignment, "Ranking: Classic · Change" shows the set it uses, and "Change" picks another. The person you invite ranks the same set. If you made it, it shows in their list with your name on it.
Archiving a set
Archive a set you no longer use with the bin button. The alignments that use it are archived too, for you and your partners. Built-in sets can't be archived, and a set someone else made can only be archived by them. Restore a set any time under "Archived".
